I agree with your point that you should not remove badges. Mine are staying well and truly stuck. BUT to call people C.h.a.v.s because they have removed their badge or badges is a rather narrow minded view

I'm a VERY narrow-minded person!

Anyway, back on-topic - my badges ARE reflective! Just didn't come out very well in the photo. Also, the "delaminating" effect isn't actually half as bad as it looks!

They only tend to de-badge their motors when they are running something slow with a tin can exhaust.

or when you get your badges nicked like mine on my old RS

Anything to increase the power-to-weight ratio, eh?! :D

My mates' BMW 535D M- Sport Touring is 'debadged'. He wont be impressed at being told he's a c.h.a.v!!

Then you're a c.h.a.v . It has no badges!!!

Ha ha yeah but he has only de-badged as its diesel..........

Christ how has this new badge topic gone down this route

p.s my M3 has been de-badged too! only coz the badges got nicked! cant be bothered......

No, I don't doubt that BMWs themselves are nice cars, but it's the image that goes with buying one (haven't we heard all this before?!!!!) :)

Oh what a giggle
