Fabia MK3 - Internal lighting LED bulb upgrade options?

Featured Replies

greetings fellow Fabia MK3 owners...

I have thought about giving my Fabia a bit of an interior makeover, I would like to replace all the interior lighting with LED bulbs, the front interior light both centre and left/right map lights, the glovebox light, rear passenger lights above the doors and the boot light. I don't want to use any old cheap bulb but a decent reputable brand, also would there be any canbus issues?

If I was you I would ask Classic Car LEDs Ltd and get your bulbs from there as they don't use cheap rubbish and are happy to advise and help where they can. Generally avoiding the superbright stuff helps with canbus but of course VW are different to others in this and other stuff as you may have already discovered, gawd bless their cotton socks, "German engineering quality". 😄😄😄

ETA: Warm white for more traditional colour and bright white for the more modern stark blueish light. Red bulbs behind red lenes, amber bulbs behind amber lenses, etc..
