i got one off another member a whle ago and finally got round to looking at it the other day, the trouble is i have no instructions and don't know where it ounts to the car

its got these lttle leg things that u assume bolt to the chassis somewhere at the front then the sump guard onto the legs but what the hell does it all bolt to? :confused:

also is there a difference between the diesel and petrol guards as knowing my luck i have the wrong one

IIRC you need to have the chassis drilled and some nutserts fitted.

shows me that it goes round the way i thought it did but doesn't seem that clear to me where it actually fixes to. hopefully someone that has fitted one will come along shortly

The legs bolt to the chassis, you need something that can insert captive nuts and they are kin big ones as well. I ended up getting the dealer to do it as the biggest nutsert tool I had was nowhere near big enough and the cheapest I could find was £180 :grumpy: The plate then bolts to the legs which have a threaded end IIRC

i noticed the thread hole in the legs and worked out that the plate bolts to that but the bit that stumped me was where the legs bolt to, might have to visit my local dealer then
