Featured Replies

Bought new on PCP, March 2025. Just noticed with the cold weather that the heated door mirror function is not working.

I'm assuming that you are using the mirror control, rather than via the heated rear window heater, like on our other car.

Thanks for your response. I have tried using both the mirror control and the heated rear screen function - neither gets the mirrors heated. I suspect there are fuses missing (apparently there are two, one for each side) or they are both blown (unlikely perhaps). It's not a major problem so I think I'll just leave it until first service in March 2026.

Heated mirrors can be activated by turning the knob at the heating position, and, at the same time, push to activate rear window heating - demist

Please see my previous reply.

I assume the Koiaq is the same as my Karoq. The heated mirrors and heated rear window are independant, you can clear the mirrors without the rer window heater on. IThe conditions were right to check yesterday morning.

I suspect another case of the Skoda heated mirror activation function being caused by the button not lining up with the mirror on the dial again.
The below pics are where it needs to be set for the heated mirrors to operate. It's been like this in every Skoda I've owned.
They operate independantly of the rear heated screen unlike a lot of other cars from various marques.

The control in your image is quite different to mine and I don't think I can move my control past the heating symbol as in your image. In all 4 of my previous Kodiaqs the control lined up perfectly with the heating symbol. I'll give a go though. Thanks for your response.

I refer to my original posting re heated mirrors. I'm pleased to report I've solved the issue.

I normaly drive in Eco mode, so I tried to apply a bit of Czech logic. Eco is about saving, so why not battery saving. The mirror heaters don't work when in Eco mode - they do work perfectly in all other modes - Doh !!!
