A few errors this morning

Featured Replies

2024 vrs . Turned on the ignition this morning and a few errors bonged up. Something about parkiing brake error and auto hill hold error etc. This was before i cranked the engine.

I’m guessing it’s the usual Octavia glitches or is their some issues ahead with the braking system? The errors disappeared without trace immediately after they flashed up.

Could be the cold?

It was 15 degrees this morning. Sorry i meant “there” not “their” my brain was also glitching this morning.

Had this twice due to faulty 12V battery. But could be an issue with ABS sensors as well.

I’d immediately suspect the battery. Another thing to notice is whether the stop start mysteriously doesn’t happen anymore or only very rarely.

Interestingly my Topdon battery tester keeps telling me to “replace “my 18 month old battery . But it cranks fast, starts instantly and the start stop works flawlessly.

Apologies, but I occasionally get the odd error thrown up when it's really cold. Usually in regard to front assist, park assist though in fairness

The battery being the culprit is a good shout, have you heard of CTEK?

I got various ADAS errors and start stop not working very often. Needed a new battery at 6 months old

Yeah i definitely get the U112200 and U112300. A new one i get sometimes is “ low voltage” error code in the brake booster module.

mine popped up when I bought OBDeleven for the first time and running the ignition for about 30mins looking at the parameters, didn't realise the ignition was a big drain.

I wish it was the old lead/acid battery/alternator system

But then Skoda couldn't charge you for fixing it.

Battery reading after a test. Funny thing is it cranks good and the stop start works flawlessly.
