I've lowered my car 50mm and since then I've had my driveshaft knock since 2 days after lowering it and I can't seem to find a solution online so any help would be great to stop it from knocking

Maybe by lowering car drive shaft is too long or at different angle causing strain or cv joint is failing. Check its not hitting anything as well.

I've had the driveshalf replaced as the other way failed the same day and I've also fitted shorter drop links but still getting the knocking so I've been looking for shorter driveshafts but can't seem to find one. It's only the left side

Is yours petrol or diesel. The diesel drive shafts I think are shorter but dont know if the fitting is the same. Had a look at Febi parts finder and Febi 181993 is used in 1.4tdi/1.9tdi MK1 and is shorter than the one on my sons 1.2 petrol. Think its 30mm shorter.

Mine a 1.2 petrol as well so I'll have a look and see if it's the same fitting

I use Febi parts finder https://partsfinder.bilsteingroup.com/en They have excellent pictures and dimensions etc plus what vehicle its used in an oem cross reference etc

From what I can see they do look different but look to have the same fitting

Wonder if you could get an old one from a scrappy to see if it fits. They are fitted to a lot of different cars.
