Right wing mirror not heating

Featured Replies

Hi guys,

I have had my Kodiaq vRS since October, and as the weather has started to get colder I have now noticed the drivers side wing mirror doesn't heat up or clear.
I have done a lot of short journeys recently (10-15 mins) and suspected there was an issue, but wanted to see what it was like when the frost arrives. Just after Xmas it was a bit frosty and on a 25 minute journey the Passenger side cleared quite quickly, but the drivers side remained frosty for quite some time.

Has anybody else heard about, or had this issue?

Thank you,
Paul

It could be a blown fuse. There are two separate fuse boxes and it would help you enormously to get access to the online Skoda owners manuals. Each door mirror has its own dedicated fused circuit.

Thanks for the reply buddy. I will look into this and see if I can swap the fuse out, and if it makes a difference 🙂
