left front level control system sensor

Featured Replies

Superb just had cambelt and water pump done today. My mechanic also put his diagnostic tester on it to locate the fault on the AFS headlight issue and it`s come back with left front level control system sensor open cct/short cct.

Genuine part is around £250 from Skoda. Are the aftermarket parts any good as I can get a supposedly OEM part from Amazon for example for under 40 quid? Or do people suggest using genuine parts?

I installed an AliExpress sensor that cost €25 including shipping.

Everything works properly; the only thing needed is to have the lights adjusted after the replacement, because the Chinese sensor doesn’t read the same standard height as the original one.

I went for middle ground in the finish and got an oem version from Skodaparts.com in Czech republic. Very reasonably priced and being fitted tomorrow along with two new wishbones..
