Octy II 2.0 TDI exhaust info required

Featured Replies

As it's nice, warm and dry I have a favour to ask:

Could an owner of a 2.0 TDI Octy to pop outside and take a picture of the tailpipes on their car please.

I need to know the angle the pipes sit at by the rear valance.

Skoda sell exhaust trims and I wonder whether a new rear valance would be required to clear the exhaust if these were fitted.

I imagine you have the twin curved pipes which point towards the floor at the moment? If so you will not need a new valance. The chrome covers fit over the top of the existing pipes once the curved bit is cut off.

If you want to see a picture then do a search for "pic of twin pipes" and you will find some there.

Hows this?

It's a silver car - it wouldn't exactly stand out :D

I stuck some on my silver Elegance and they looked great.

Just do it you know you what to.

I've found your threads now Chris.

Some new hacksaw blades look like they may be needed!

incidentally the ''pic of twin pipes'' thread picture on post #1 won't load for me, but I get the idea. The Milotec pdf's help no end.
