Can anyone advise on bonnet alignment please?

Its a couple of mm low on both sides, think its affecting the latch release, rather stiff.

Rubber bungs on each side look ok, although they may have lost density over the years?

Had a lot of snow thaw off the roof and land on it, sat overnight, may have been the cause!

Bonnet catches hard to unlatch using under bonnet lever common.

My secondary safety catch is fine, clean and greased.

My bonnet release is stiff with hardly any travel to open.

Is this normal with a new Bowden installed?

That center lock is very accurate for its position. I had grille off and lock bolts off and bonnet wasnt closing when it wasnt right place.

Next adjustment turned opposite, very stiff opening handle now.

It closes great, its opens also, just a lot stiffer than before.

Latch had a whole can of brake cleaner on it.

Thought a new cable would make it easier is all.

Routed it the best I could. No advice on that sadly.

Did not think the latch has any adjustment, the t30 bolts have zero give.

So do i but it gives little play which is important what comes good closing/opening.
