vRS 245 2020 Spark Plugs

Featured Replies

At 60k and 5 and a half years old I don't think mines has had plugs yet (had it two years). Does anyone have recommendations on plugs (part numbers etc) and what the standard plugs fitted by Skoda are?

I fitted some on my last car which was a Leon Cupra 290 with the EA888 and they were NGK Platinum I believe. From memory they were the same part number as the original Seat/VW ones but I can't fully remember.

Can I do the same here in terms of getting the right NGK ones from say Eurocarparts and not the OEM branded ones, but effectively the same plugs?

I have had a 2019 VRS 245 for 3 years and it runs fine on BOS0241245673. The car is tuned to 300bhp and the plugs have handled that ok.

OE, Bosch or NGK.

The part number for OE should be 06Q905601A. These are VW stamped but made by NGK.

I use genuine OE from www.skoda-parts.com

They’re not much more expensive than OEM NGK here.
