Octavia vrs limited edition mk2 pre facelift

Featured Replies

Evening guys I'm buying a octavia vrs limited edition mk2 pre facelift 2.0tdi apparently 1 of 500 pre facelift diesels sold in the uk. 172k miles and very clean. Does £1800 sound good and how desirable would you say it is. Plenty of mk2 facelift models with the 2.0 tdi and only 1 pre facelift diesel advertising on auto trader

I'd say it's on the money if maybe a bit cheap compared to other stuff for the same money.

Good cars 👍

This is the 2009 sales brochure for the MK2's including the limited edition VRS.

Check the previous MOT for corosion underneath and anything else that its failed on. Can be a good way to see if car has been looked after. I reckon at that price its worth it. Have bought two Octavia over the years for around that price with decent service history and had no problems apart from corosion on sills, wheel arches and underneath. I'm in north scotland so salt is a car killer. They have both been mechanicaly great. One was the 1.9tdi pre fl and newest is 1.6tdi MK2 post fl

Factor in a timing belt change etc if its not already been done.

Mot reports are great. The pre facelift limited edition is 1 of 500 they did in diesel sold in The uk. The is only 33 grey pre facelift and facelift diesel mk2 limited editions on the road so how many pre facelift are they in the same colour

Recon at that price definitly worth buying. Thats a very nice looking car. My son would love it but alas at 19 the insurance may be a tad high for him and if I get another car I would be in big trouble.
