Is it possible to fit a Garrett GT1749VA in replacement of my old Garrett GT1749V

Featured Replies

Hi all, sorry if this has already been covered, but I have a 1.9 ASV (110), and my turbo's wastegate has completely stuck so its just constantly over boosting and then going into limp mode. so its time to change the turbo. I do already have a Garrett GT1749VA lying around, which I believe is off of a PD130, so I'm wondering if anyone's already done this swap before? is it a a simple plug and play? does all the original pipework fit etc? I do understand it would require a custom map afterwards, but that will come later.

TIA

Why not just swap actuators? Think they are the same for both turbo.
