Karoq front indicator drivers side

Featured Replies

Well that’s an unpleasant shock ! Front RHS indicator not working, repair needs whole light unit £ 948 inc fitting. 😲

☹️

Have similar problem
22' SE L (facelift), erratic flickering front RH. Diagnostics checked via ODIS. Active fault logged at central electrics for M7 RHF turn signal short circuit.
Result - possible fault with A28 output module or LED light.
First step replace the A28 module and retest.
If this will not sort it out, full light assembly replacement...

The claim:

We're moving to LED because they will outlast the vehicle.

The reality:

Well they would if we didn't install the cheapest, lowest quality garbage we can get our hands on, to hopefully limp through the warranty period...

This just happened to my 22 Karoq SE L as well, but it is the front left side. Im one week away from the MOT finishing so I had many calls today to try and get this sorted.

Mine was 10 months out of warrenty 😕

Mine has been out of warranty for 1 year. I feel that this may be an issue with early versions of the light. Bit disappointed in Skoda really...

Disappointed, yes indeed, I didn’t take out the warranty when it was 3 years old because I’m a low mileage user 19k in 4 years !

However, I have taken the warranty deal with Skoda now as I think it is a good deal now much better than it was, ie, 2 services, 2 Mot’s, breakdown in europe & uk plus 2 years warranty 👍.

Good idea. Im going to do the same!

Update, the light seemed to start working by itself and has been fine since. But today the right indicator showed a similar error, but stopped after 10 mins. I think there must be a connection issue to the central ECU. I'll need to investigate.
