Don't you just hate having to wait

Featured Replies

Looks like my car will be dalayed again. They said end of July. Car is, apparently in a UK port somewhere waiting to be scanned. I'm due to go on holiday on 7th of August, so now don't even know what car I'll be taking with me.

I think I'll just take a trailer down to the port and pick it up myself.

I should be over it now at the age of 42, but I have the patience of a >insert something known not to have any patience at all here<.

Arrrghhhhh!

Mines been sat in Grimsby for at least a week, according to dealer they were paying Skoda for it last thursday so it could be 'called off' was hoping to get it today but fingers crossed it will be this week as I am going away at start of August as well, don't really want to take the loaner.

It's here! Arrived this morning. I'm still trying to work it all out. 2 problems already that look like I need to take it in. I can't switch the headlights off and can't unlock all the doors at once.

Glad the cars arrived, picked mine up yesterday!

Sorry to here about your problems where did you buy it from? PDI should definately have noticed these two problems! The doors not unlocking, have you pressed the key fob twice in quick succession? 1 press just to unlock drivers, two for all doors, you have to hold down the boot button on the fob for a length of time to get it to pop on its own on the remote. The lights I don't know, if you have light assist then have you got them on a n auto setting? If the car is an import then the sidelights might be on permenant depending on its country coding, and would need changing with vagcom, presume they aren't on when the ignition is off or battery would be flat. Problem with the doors sorted. It's as you described - quick succession. The head lights remain on all the time when ignition is on regardless of switch setting - unless set to sidelights, when only sidelights are on. Because my local dealer is not the supplying dealer, they're wanting to charge me 30 quid to sort it.
