Hi all,

Bought a Fabia Mk1 2007 (saloon) recently as my first car. Both driver and passenger side windows weren't working when I bought it, thought it was just a fuse issue.

Had it in with a mechanic for a few days now and he can't seem to figure out what's wrong with it.

I tried changing fuses and this did nothing. Mechanic has checked the wiring, motor and the switches. Wires are all fine, motor works when taken out of the door and plugged straight into a battey and brand new switches are doing nothing.

Having read through a few threads here from people with the same issue but it doesn't seem like anyone's found any concrete fix. The only lead I'm working off of right now is the mechanic saying it could be a module on the motor that's dead? All I've found related to this is the comfort control module but not sure if that's what I should be looking for.

Any help is greatly appreciated with this, hoping someone can save me before I lose my mind!
