Has anyone reached the speed limiter in a current Octavia vRS?

Lots more. It is a pure Autobahn Stormer, & About 150 mph free falling if you drive it off Beachy Head.

VAG have a history of not be too careful about the accuracy of the 155mph limiter, my previous VAG car wouldn't hit the limiter until 187mph (GPS indicated) - verified on an unrestricted autobahn!.

Various VAG products have limiters removed in some specs so yours was probably one of those.

Limiter removal was a several thousand pound option and was signified by a different ECU software version - which mine did not have.

Also several other owners reported the same very loose interpretation of 155mph.
