have just let my neighbour who is a gard over here dublin go for a wee spin in my octy RS!!......he has a grin on his from ear to ear!!!.....i dont think he was expecting anything like that at all....found a quite bit of road,he gave it some squeeze in 2nd,pinned him back in the saet, into 3rd thinking the revs would drop!! but it was still on the turbo and he nearly cacked himself!!!.....all he kept saying is .."are you sure this is a skoda?"......brillant!!!

My Dad had an old bog standard Estelle 120LSE which he kitted out to make it near rally spec- Webber carbs - uprated exhausts - new brakes - god knows what else... This was at the height of skoda jokes.

Once a local rubber necker said - skodas are slow aren't they? To which my Dad offered him a lift - You could hammer this thing round bends at full throttle and it was lovely to see this guy go white with fear. Thus to say He never got any gip from many people again where we lived. Dad sold the car and a week later it was written off - gutted.

last night had the rest of his house mates knocking on my door wondering if they could have a go in the car.....they are all polis aswell!!!.....all they could say was no wonder somebody tried to steal it!!!
