12V Plug with Invertor in Kodiaq IV

Featured Replies

I am looking to charge a few Segway escooters out of the 12V socket in the trunk. I got this for the process https://www.osram.com/ecat/POWERinvert%20150W-Inverter-Vehicle%20electronics-Automotive/com/en/GPS01_31952990/ZMP_4068898/

The kids escooters use 220~230V chargers at 1Amp that output 15W or 24W. The bigger escooter will output 36W.

Has anyone tried out this? I know it might drain the 12V battery but i also understand that if you put the car in ready mode it will keep it up. I will mostly charge the smaller kids scooters. https://eu-en.segway.com/ekickscooter/products/c2-lite.html?kid=K13802

Given the potential fire risk when charging Lithium batteries, do you think this is a good idea?
