My a$$!

That's all the equipment I need

Walkie - it's not the way you read it!

So you mean it felt faster then not it is faster.

I piggin' hate diesels :grumpy:

However' date=' doing 50-70k miles per year I think it is wise to have one :( Or am I just being tight? :D

As for depreciation, whatever car I have is worth far call after 3 years and 150-200k miles :D[/quote']

How on earth do you have the time to do all those miles and be such a post whore?

I'm in touch with my femenine side and as a consequence I can multi-task better than a mere man

;)

I suppose I'm now in the Petrol camp again.

Having had the very rare and privilaged chance to take a look on the Skoda vehicle ordering system today I can tell you that there is only one dealership with one on order at the moment and it's being built today. So if you are thinking of a test drive in the near future you'll need to come down south.

I think I agree that the PD140 has to be the engine of choice if you want an oil burner.

I test drove the Golf 1.4 TSFSI yesterday which is supposed to be 170hp and my Fabia would have pi$$ed all over it.

is there any point considering the price of fuel at most fuel stations i have seen up country both petrol and diesel were priced at 99.9p a ltr and the fact that 2.0D was no way near as good as the 2.0T tax may be a bit cheaper but i still dont see the point in the diesel unless its kicking 40mpg+ minimum why not just get a petrol! only reason the fabia RS is so good for what it is its because its not massivly huge or thirsty and it hits the average of 55mpg. and for tuning potential you still have the limited rev range in a diesel, and if you can chip the 2.0petrol and get 270bhp - actually why buy a performance car and worry about fuel consumption?! get a bloody 1.0 micra!
