build spec

Featured Replies

Hi guys

any way i can find out the build spec on my 2024 Sportline ???

cheers

Stu

There used to be several VIN decoders online that would list all the build codes free of charge. So far as I know, they all now cost a bit and require a 'membership'. If anyone finds a free one, please post it.

A couple of weeks ago I asked a Skoda dealer to print me the build sheet of a car I was looking at. He didn't know what I was talking about. When I explained, he showed me his computer screen, with the car's spec listed in a folder-tree format so it was necessary to click and expand numerous categories to hunt for items. He thought there was no way of printing or exporting that in full.

As with the lack of a downloadable manual for several years now, it isn't helpful.

If you have the My Skoda App you can download the Digital Certificate for you vehicle, this will list the full specification including any factory ordered options, all the technical data, service history, recall work done, PDI date. etc. It gets updated every time it is worked on by any Skoda Dealer.

I have used seller glavanesti on eBay a number of times to buy full VIN decodes (ie build specifications) for VAG cars in my family. The price is €3 and the details are provided very promptly by email.
