Camber adjustment

Featured Replies

So had both rear control arms replaced as the bolt was seized so I couldnt get the tracking done..now the tracking place say they can't get the camber inside spec because there is no adjustment for that and it will be OK as toe is good now..

Have attached the results..

Is the camber adjustment not this bolt in the pic..(which stands a chance is seized aswell)

The rear camber is totally adjustable if the bolt isn’t seized or they get a couple new bolts

The rear camber is pretty equal side to side however that’s a lot of camber for a standard road set up. I used to run that degree on my old superb 4x4 Octavia for fast road/track day use.

It needs to be about 1.5 negative for a good road set up and minimal inside edge tyre wear

Cheers mate is that the bolt in the picture above so I can tell them? Or is it this control arm bolt.

Let me know..they adjusted the control arm one to sort the toe.

Thanks.

I'm no expert on multi-link suspension - I don't have it on mine - but it looks to me like you would adjust the camber first, using the bolt on the inner end of your new transverse arm, then the toe afterwards, using the other bolt on the track control arm.
