my rear box has finally given up the ghost so I'm looking for a half decent replacement. I don't want to fork out for a genuine OEM one as the seem quite pricey. In the past I've bought exhaust parts from a manufacturer beginning with a K and found them to be really poor. A mate of my son works in their technical department and he says he wouldn't use them. So if anyone has any suggestions of makes and suppliers they've found to be good quality I'd love to know. Thanks in advance.

I agree some of the aftermarket exhaust dont seem to last long at all. I used to use Klarius as they were a cheaper option but last front pipe for my sons fabia mk1 was BM catalyst and so far so good. Reckon Bosal might be better and there is euroflow which I havent used. Most aftermarket exhausts seem to last 2-5 years. Think genuine oem skoda are made by TYLL

Hi Alasdair. Thanks for the reply. There's some options then dependant on price.

I'll have a look for TYLL and if not I'll give Bosal a go. If they last 5 years I'd be very happy as some I've bought fail shortly after the warranty period. Thanks again.

TYLL are Czech Republic based so not sure if available in uk. They make for skoda themselves. Local motor factor sell Klarius and Bosal but my local garage tend to fit either OEM or Bosal. Probably as they last longer and fit better. They have a sign saying that they only fit oem or qualtiy parts and refuse to fit any part you give them to fit.
