After market radio recommendations

Featured Replies

So I am now the proud owner of three head units. One which is locked and I can't decode. One with a broken screen which works (except for display) and one that is a piece of crap aftermarket one which won't turn on.

For my sanity, please could someone recommend a decent unit, that doesn't require me to cut wires, that is not a piece of crap and fits into the existing trim and doesn't look terrible.

There's so many out there and it's hard to know which ones are good.

Maybe better with another original. Have heard that aftermarket radios can interfere with OBD port communication if scanning. Someone on here may know aftermarket units that dont cause problems.

I don't know if I can buy another OEM one when I have 2 already. Tempted to attempt to repair the digitiser in the one that came with the car. But assume that's another rabbit hole that will end in wasted money.
