I've just received my new vehicle, and there are a couple of things in the boot that I have no idea what they are.

There are two L-shaped pieces of plastic about 25 cm long, with Velcro on, and a square piece of plastic that looks like a lipstick holder.

If anyone could tell me, politely, what to do with them, I would be most grateful.

The 2 l-shaped pieces are used to secure any loose boxes in the boot. Place them at opposite corners of the box, the Velcro will stick to the fabric of the boot liner and hold the box in place. No idea what the lipstick holder is. Can you post a picture of it?

The "lipstick " holder, I think is the screen cleaner for the infotainment screen.

Are Skoda Superbs now coming with screen cleaner for the infotainment display then?

I'd also appreciate a picture of that. Assume it's refillable in some way?

Looks like the spectacles holder which slots into the box inside the central arm rest. Does it have a couple of lugs on the back of it?

Sunglasses holder can clip into the glove box.

Another matter that has got me thinking is the service intervals.

The car says it's every 18,000 or two years.

I'm not sure I have ever had a car that could go two years without a service, and 18,000 miles on the same oil seems strange.

@Mark10061 That can be as much as 20,000 miles / 24 months. But have it serviced anytime you want sooner & then reset to Fixed and 9,400 miles / 372 days or sooner. All depends on how you use the car, and how you have things checked / inspected to suit your use.
