Has anyone with a mk4 DSG upgraded their shifter switch from the cheap plastic one to somewthing like this?

Would love to see what one looked like installed on a VRS mk4 DSG , shame they don't do a VRS badged version to match the car.

They are designed for the Golf mk8 but should fit an octavia, how hard to install one and what will it look like?

They do different colour options.

Help! I need to replace the (worn out, ineffective) door strap on the driver's door, so: 1. I bought replacement part. 2. I then realised that removing/replacing the door strap needs access from 'inside' the door (is this conclusion correct?). 3. I removed the door panel (breaking only one trim clip, and the warning light at the bottom of the panel, in the process). 4. Found that there is a second (metal) panel, riveted in place, blocking and sealing off access to the cavity where the main body

Hello, I have a Skoda Felicia 1.6 model 2000 and I realized the battery was being drained quit fast. I changed it for a new one because it was already very old and then, after seing it was still draining, I measured the current on the possitive cable that goes to the fuse box with every door closed and no light and I measured 250 mA, which seems to me quite a lot for this car. Note that I discarded the alternator and starter since I measured only the positive cable going into the fuse box. Disc

I used a copy of this MSTD_EU_SK_P6230 MU0490 if anyone else needs, the site I think I had it from was mibsolution.one is currently down though. I was wary of the copy I had and passage of time, but it worked fine installed, I just have to clear the fault code ( have odbeleven but pro ran out and doesn't cover the adaption by looks of it) Excuse the state of my interior I don't use the car that much and could use a vaccuum.

A few months ago, I posted here about rust appearing on the panel around the fuel filler area on my car. Upon closer inspection, this rust had started on the rear side of the panel and penetrated through to the outside. The car is a 2014 Citigo SE with only 20k miles showing. After a lot of back and forth conversations with Skoda, they finally inspected the car in July 2018 and agreed it was a manufacturing defect. The car was taken to an approved body shop where it remained for over a month
