I have had the pcv replaced by a garage when the original broke around 6 years ago. The current valve appears to be in one piece but replacing it, I thought would be a good idea to prevent future problems. As the stem is barbed will it break if I pulled to remove it or will it slide out of rocker cover?

I wish sone one had told me when I was young "If it aint broke don't fix it" The blunders I made.

In later life someone also told me the thing you worry about rarely happens ,but the real problems are the ones that come unexpectedly out of the blue.
