Mine is a maltise one and i made a claim already on the climate control unit. As long as you register the car yourself with Skoda uk, its fine.

All i needed to fax them was the first dealer stamp - the one from Frank border who supplies the cars to motorpoint and the v5 document when it cane through.

Other than that the car is euro spec ( same as uk but with a few extras, jumbo box, dual climate control, rear electric windows, auto light and auto wipers) although it did come with daylight running lights, which my local dealer turned them off for me for
