Starting to get dissapointed

Just bumped into this thread, been away on holiday.

I like you went from Scoob Classic (Sti 3, 290 bhp) to an Octy although I went the 4x4 route.

I have had the trip to Jabba, changed suspension to KW, fitted 17" wheels with Toyos & much bigger front brakes & the car is now a much better car to live with than the Scoob.

I also had Powertstation set up the Scoob for me & the results were amazing.

They have since done a similar job for me on the Octavia so I suggest you give them a call & see what they can offer for a 2 wheel drive Octy.

If you have any doubts about the cars handling & what you can get a Rs to do contact TaviaRs or Ffelan who post here & they will help you, both their Rs's are awesomely quick & on the track will run rings around many Scoobs.

I also now have a bank balance & I think you will eventually find this.

Thanks Stuart

I think powerstation keep most of there geometry settings on file so that would be usefull. what KW variant did you go for?

On holliday over X-mas.....you lucky g!t.....I stayed in blighty and probably spent as much:(

Did you get your car's suspension set up accurately to the specified 'book' settings

car has been lowered from std 4x4 height so book settings didnt apply, I just left it to Powerstation to set as they saw fit. I also had to fit adjustable lower rear arms as the lowering gave about 4 degrees of camber, great for corners but gave terrible tyre wear
