Do the rear seats in the Superb fold flat enabling you to load through the boot ?.

What's the combined mpg for 2.8 V6 ?

thanks

Depends on age with regards to the rear seats I think

My local dealer has this 03 plate elegance with leather interior for £7995. I'm tempted but I need to be able to put my mountain bike in it, hence the folding seats.

If they do fold (mine do and it's an 05) they only fold down on top of the sqab, but it's useable, and yes you could probably get a bike in.

don't know about the mpg on a 2.8 v6

I think the folding seats came later in 2004. Mine is an 04 plate, reistered March 2004, and doesn't have them. I know some others have 2004 cars that do have them.

Shame they can't be retro fitted really, as they would be handy sometimes.

Can't fold the seats on my '52 plate Superb either.

Couldn't say about combined milage, but I seem to get about 22MPG around town, and on a 500 mile run last weekend, we averaged 38MPG (70mph, cruise on) in my 2.8 auto.

That said, I probably drive slowly enough to keep Miss Daisy happy.

My 03 superb elegance 2.8V6 tiptronic doesn't have folding rear seats:(

Still managed to get a 12 foot trampoline in the back tho!

The official combined mileage figures are 29.1mpg for the manual and 27.2mpg for the tiptronic.

Enjoy:)

My old 04 reg Superb did have folding seats - that was registered in July 2004.

With regards to fuel consumption my 2.8 v6 was only giving me 22.5 mpg combined and at best 29 mpg going steady on a decent run. All figures as indicated on on-board computer. I was finding it hard to live with the mpg, short runs were only giving me 15 to 16 mpg so I convertyed to LPG. I was getting 350 miles for £60 and now with LPG I'm getting 250 to 280 miles for £20 (39.9L Garage in Leeds near my Mums) to £23 (45.9L my Local garage Boston) The cost of the conversion was £1500 so should pay for it's self in 18 to 24 months at 10000 miles per year. I intend to keep the car for some time and it will fetch more due to conversion when or if I sell it on.

I have a Superb elegance 1.9 TDI registered in May 03 , NO FOLDING SEATS

My mate told me that the rear seats don't fold - it was a pleasant surprise to find that they did on my recently acquired 2005 Elegance :D

Not had to use the car in that mode yet so don't know how effective it will be but options are like switches - you just can't have too many lol

Pete:D

My old 54 reg Superb Comfort did NOT have rear folding seats, that was registered in Sept 2004. My 06 Superb Elegance does.
