Guesstimate - How Fast is my Fabia

Featured Replies

Hi,

Those that know will be aware Iam moving to Oz soon.

Also, I have been wanting to make a trip to Santa Pod to record a 1/4 mile and 0-100 km times.

Some of you came across my sleepy little Fabia on the way to Weston on the M5.

As I will be selling the car soon I decided not to put any stresses on the car and would appreciate if you had an idea of how fast my car is, compared with your own.

I know it's difficult but have a go for a laugh !

14.9s 1/4 mile.

about a mile behind mil!!

I think pretty much the same as a remapped vRS... perhaps a touch slower. Certainly in the 160+bhp region.

I say its in the 175-180 bhp range, 15 second 1/4 mile, 60 in about 7 seconds.

touch faster imo than a standard vrs on a warm day because of the bfofmic.

Hi, Okay maybe move on.

If I really went for it who thinks I would damage the car during a flat out session.

Faster than Mil's 2.0L petrol I think not :finger:

:D (Sorry couldn't resist)...

Mine did a 15.4 at pod, at 89 mph, totally stripped out. I reckon your car would not be far off. Maybe a 15.7. I reckon your top speed would be around a true 140mph flat out.

PD100 is a fair bit lighter. Around 100kg IIRC. No damage would come from doing a couple of 0-60s on your favourite bit of road. :D
