Afternoon all,

I've been having some problems with my 2001 Octavia RS, where on a morning it's been idling badly, almost cutting out. It's clears up after a min or so and from reading the forums, it could either be the MAF and/or temp sensor. Since the only time I go under the bonnet is to check the water and oil, I have no ideal where the MAF or temp senor is. I'd like clean the MAF to start with so can anyone direct me to the location of the MAF and the temp sensor ?

If I need to replace these, is it a garage job or could I do this myself ?

If you use the search facility, you will find all the info on how to clean, and, or replace both these items......................
