Fabia Comfort 1.9TDI tyres

Featured Replies

Well the time has more than come for me to replace my tyres

I can not really believe this but 37k from new and 3mm left

As I have the bog standard Fabia Why was it fitted with

DUNLOP S2000 185/60/R14 H ??? a Sport tyre on standard metal wheels

Anyway I digress

Has anyone dealt with Blackcircles.com, any pointers

They are offering direct replacement at

I used to run Michelin Energy's on my Corsa and they simply refused to wear out  I used to run the Dunlop SP200's on my Fabia in 14" guise and was very happy with the way they handled in wet and dry, and the low road noise. They'd been on for about 10k when I sold the car and they seemed to be wearing very well :D

Chris

I've used BlackCircles twice in two different places without any problems.

The Dunlops are a decent all round tyre - I had a set on my old Mk2 Jetta (bit lighter than ta Furby TDI tho). They're probably what Skoda had a pile of at the time. Don't get me started on the usage of the Sport label on cars... I tend to rant. :D

Blackcircles are fine.

As for tyres we're currently on Vredestien Hytraks (wet weather tyre for the wifeys daily commute over the pennines) and they have been good. Seem to be wering better than previous Michelin E3A's (we only ever got 18k out of them) as well as being much more stable in the wet.

Thanks for the replies

Seems Blackcircles.com it will be then, and replace with same Dunlops

I did search other threads before posting, but they were in the main

about VRS and performance tyres

Cheers

I have Conti's on mine and have seen over 53k in them!
