I'm looking for some marshals for the Printmatters Promenade Stages Rally on Saturday 30th September at New Brighton

No experience is needed and I can prominse you a fantastic days motorsport in return.

I need marshals on the Friday for scrutineering and signing on from between 5pm to 9:30pm and for the rally itself from 6am to 6pm.

All marshals are entered into a prize draw.

Turn up and sign on as a marshal.

Then when the roads close (this event is run on closed public roads) put all the cones and rally arrows in the right place.

When the stage is live you are there to assist if there are any problems (i.e cars need moving etc.).

After two stages re-arrange the cones and arrows for the next two stages and so on until ten stages have been run.

After the final stage help remove all the cones and arrows from the roads ready for them re-opening.

That's it really - one of the benefits of this event is that it is a single venue so you get to see every stage and you don't have to deal with the public either as they are kept in a spectator area.

Sorry Andy but I can't make it this year as I'm returning home from holiday on that day.

I can highly recommend it to anyone for a good day out watching and getting involved in motorsport though.

All marshals will be entered into the draw to win a selection of merchandise from Subaru WRT, Ford WRT, Honda F1 and Midland F1.

If you don't fancy marshalling why not come along to watch. Entrance is £5 per car or £3 on foot and includes a 20 page colour programme.

This years field includes a number of Impreza WRC of various varient from S11 down, mighty Metro 6R4s, Hyundai Accent WRC and a Mini.
