Just need to know now what your talking about:thumbup: I thought i knew about vag-com but i dont have a clue any more!

I know what you're saying - however it breaks due to high boost levels not because of the power of the engine.

Either way - if a turbo fails within days there is something wrong for sure :(

The amount of air needed to maintain any given boost is directly related to the engine power output. Making 1.5 bar boost at peak torque of say 2500 rpm is much less work for the turbo than making the same boost at 4500rpm where the engine is allowing much more air volume through and thus the turbo is pushing much higher volumes through.
