MG ZT Owner looking to upgrade :-)

Featured Replies

Hi to all. Thought I would join up here to check out the thoughts of my future car.

I currently drive an MG ZT 190+ (2.5 V6) with twin exhausts mod, pipercross viper, cold air induction feed, privacy glass, and a superchip ECU upgrade. However, although it really turns the heads, I constantly find myself wanting after the new Octavia VRS 2.0T. I have almost convinced myself to trade in "the beast" for one, and would appreciate peoples thoughts here. I have always liked the look of the yellow ones, but have been told that the new VRS is not available in this colour (true?)

Anyway, back to me - I am from the Midlands and work as a technical consultant doing anything from developing new systems to fixing peoples dead servers and saving their business's much treasured data. Although fully trained and qualified in Windows, I have converted to what my colleagues refer to as the "dark side" - Linux !! Oh yeh, nearly forgot - two kids, one wife, one sheepdog, and all that other stuff :D

I look forward to some interesting conversations and input from you guys.

Cheers.

Hi, and welcome

Welcome to the site

Thought the new vRS was going to be available in the new Sprint Yellow - could be wrong though!

Hope you find enough evidence in favour of doing the right thing on here ;)

Steve

Yes you can now get the new vRS in Sprint Yellow, some pictures on here already if you search.

Welcome to Briskoda by the way, I'm sure a new Octy will be much more fun than the Rover (Did I say that :P )

Hello. My mate's got a ZT-T 190 and it's a commendable vehicle.

I doubt you'll get the lovely roar of the V6 with the 2.0T though. I think the MG interior is excellent as well.

Even though I'm sure you loved your MG, I am also sure that you won't be dissapointed in the Octy vRS should you decide to get one.

There are one or two little "extra's" that are worth considering too ;)
