2001 Fabia TDI Comfort PD or not?

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I'm looking at getting a 2001 Fabia 1.9 TDi Comfort and I'm just wondering if this is a PD engine or not??

If its just a 1.9 TDi can the car still be remapped??

Thanks

Ive got a 2001 comfort 1.9 tdi and yep its very friendly to mods ;) but i say no more....... Im in the north west / north wales area tomorrow as it happens. Could meet around 6pm Queensferry/Cheshire Oaks/Wirral and you can have a drive.

Wow,

That would be fantastic cheers Andy. Can we meet at Cheshire Oaks?? - its nice and easy to get to from work.

Back to my 1st question though, is it a PD engine?? also, when do you have to change the cambelt on these, is it 60,000 like with the SEATs??

Yes it is a PD engine.

and the cambelt should be changed at 60K miles or 4 years, whichever comes first.

Thanks all,

Looks like all the money I made from selling my last car is going to go on modding the Fabia if I get it...

How'd you get to 220bhp devonutopia? is that with a new turbo and injectors?

A new engine as well. :D But yeah, new turbo on top of that, intercooler and a damn sweet remap (not so sweet for those following me though)

Original injectors though (130 ones)

Give us a pm/call if we are meeting.....

tdirob you have pm.
