what do they all mean

Featured Replies

Right, Who has a list of what the codes mean when you access

the computer via the eco & air vent button.

Left side is code No and right side is the data.

i.e. laft -19 (I think) right is actual KMH.

But what are the rest.

P.S. the speedo is wey out when compared to the computer.

i.e. speedo 60mph comp 89kmh (54mph)

I wish the book had a list of all these things.....

There is a list on here for the MK1, not sure if they are the same on the Mk2 though. Have a search and compare?

Theres a list about here somewhere. code 4 and 19 are the only useful ones. Code 4 sub codes give the readings from the internal and external temperature sensors. Code 19 subcodes give speed (which I have found to be 100% accurate when compared to my SatNav) in kph or mph, water temperature, engine speed and A/C compressor speed. I had hoped to find readings for oil pressure and oil temp, battery voltage etc but it doesn't look like that's available.

I thought that the car uses oil pressure sensors and temp sensors with analogue feedback for the variable servicing regime but it would seem that oil condition is directly related to fuel consumption over time so that's all they measure to work out when services are due.

You can find all the tips and tricks on the yop of the New Octy forum page, if that is what you are looking for
