right i've decided to buy some windows stickers from vinyl store but i dont know which colour to order??? what does the colour mean? is it the colour of the background or the colour of the letters??

colour relates to the letters

there is no background, just letters

just go with whatever colour letters take your fancy

I went for chrome letters to go with my silver car

I have the large size on my sunstrip, and the chrome really looks good with the green tint of the sunstrip

and I went for smaller size on rear window

As always its personal choice

oh ok! from the picture on the site it looks like the one with black letters have a white background.

Mine is Chrome.
