my 1.4 didnt have traction control....i nearly ended up faceing the wrong way on a road i put my foot down on a bend and i ended up trying to make it go in one direction it wouldnt go forward it kept on swerving left and right for a while...til i just breaked! was a little scary!

My fabia 1.4 16V has never oversteered.. I always put my foot to the floor on corners and it never happeend with me.. it just understeers if i was accelerating very hard.. as ScoobyChris said, the best way is to think of the forces acting on the car which is somethin i tried on the way bak home today and its a really nice thing to try to practise

Had a '96 Polo and a tree decided to jump out in front of me while I was skidding along at about 40mph.

Interior held up spot on. Insurance wouldnt repair it as it was a write off to them so I got the work done by someone else (seeing as I loved the car so much). Anyway, was coming back from college and some dirty ch@v was behind me, and Id seen him doing donuts in the college car park earlier thinking to myself *what a nub*. Stoped at a round about, suprisingly so did he. But the old guy in a Seat Leon behind him didnt. Anyway, the Leon was buggered pretty badly

, the ch@v saxo back and front were buggered too (HEHE REVENGE!). And the back of my polo bumper was dinted, so I got off quite lightly.

The strength of the car amazed me so I thought to myself, my next car has to be a VAG car! Now I have a Furby! YAY!

Thankfully the Seat Leon driver had insurance and stuck around to give some real details. But the ch@v boy had to go to his "mams" so decided to leave some fake details. Good job it wernt the opposite way around. Dont fancy testing how strong my fabia is though...

the skid didn't flip the car. The car felt very "stable" as it stepped out. It was just the Evil Kenievel style launch off the bank at the side of the road which did the worst.

I did a handling day in the new car shortly after getting it and have been impressed with it. The ring trip also showed how they're fairly decently handling cars. Just don't go anywhere near steep banks.

frenchy's rolled due to it stepping out which was probably due to him papping it and lifting off mid corner at high speed. it stepped out and flipped once sideways.
