hi guys more Qs . my car is or was new this year 'jan' . its a tdi dsg . just sent it through its test for a taxi plate and it failed only on something minor the driver side repeater the new in mirror casing fancy bit. thats all fine and dandy not too big an issue i hear you say ...... heres the thing is this unit that retails at 90 euro plus skoda labour covered under the warranty of the vehicle ??????

now question two just after buying the wife a black magic 05 vrs but all is not well there is a very annoying drone coming from the rear brakes on slow reversing what the hell??????? is this a warranty issue ??????

If the repeater failed under normal use then it'll be a warranty issue, possibly water ingress to the mirror. There have been a few problems with the boarding lights in the mirros due to water as well.

As long as the mirror hasn't been knocked you should be fine.

Search the forums for the droning rear brakes, it's been covered loads of times and I believe there is a fix for it.
