I m up to 15,000 miles now and have now put in a total 2.6l of very expensive oil. Once past 10,000 on my mk1 vRS, I used less than 1l of top up oil over the next 60,000. Anybody else having this problem or is this considered normal?

I must admit to using the performance, but I did on my old car too.

Skodas (in fact VAG's) limit is 1 litre of oil per 600 miles.
