Fabia Estate

Featured Replies

Had a quick look at one of these yesterday. I have to say i was very impressed with it.

I think i am going to get one as a second car sometime within the next 6 months or so.

It was not just the boot size that was good but the interior space was excellent as well. There seemed to be more space for occupants than in my Octy somehow?????

I will be trying to get a 1.9Tdi Elegance model and nearly went to look at one i saw in autotrader. It was only 2700 quid too and it was on a 51 plate but looking around that seems qvery cheap. It did have 98k on the clock but had a full skoda service history just seemed a lot cheaper than some others of similar miles and age.

Is it true that the new fabia is coming out next year? If so i would expect to see some good discounts on the outgoing model after christmas would you agree?

One other good thing is that they are dead cheap to insure too:thumbup:

The wife has a Fabia Estate loads of room and the boot space is fantastic, then you drop the seats..........I belive the Estate is only 8" longer than the Hatch

I could see myself in a 1.9Tdi Elegance with some bigger wheels, lowered and a remap:thumbup:

What can the 100 BHp 1.9Tdi be remapped to???

130ish Bhp..........................Some Techie will be along shortly

One other thing.

Would a modified 1.9Tdi Fabia be more or less expensive to insure than my modified octavia????

I was looking at the Revo site and they claim 150Bhp from this engine:eek:

and the same or more torque than my remapped octy:thumbup:

It would certainly be cheaper to insure than a modified Octy as it's a lot slower ;) I bought mine with 53k miles on (FSSH) and things were wearing out so make sure you give the car a thorough check over.

I would also recommend some Eibach springs and dampers too as the ride is a little soft and bouncy as standard :D
