First clean of my Felicia

Featured Replies

Having replaced the Octy vRS estate with a Felicia (nicknamed Pinky), I've spent most of the bank holiday weekend giving her a good clean in between all the showers we have been getting.

The original paintwork had faded to a pink colour in places (particularly the roof and the bonnet), but a wash followed by plenty of T-cut, wax and polish has brought about quite a transformation.

I've also added some Skoda wheel trims.

Here are some before and after pics.....

The wheel trims look good too.

You've missed a bit:orb_toung

You've missed a bit:orb_toung

Get the  from me.

The first person to spot the bit he missed wins the bottle of wine that I didn't give away yesterday:thumbup:

Wow, cleaning things make a really diffrence.

I might clean Vlad one day.

The difference is - next door have changed their car?

Andy,

A really top job. I'm embarrased that my car looks a dirtbag compared to yours. Well done!

Nice work Andy.

Excellent work.

My vote for the "missed bit" is the bit on the back below the rear window...seems to be the only bit not pictured... ;)

Rob.

Top job - looks good

Rob has posted a picture of the sticker. The car was first registered early in 1996, but I assume it was built in 2005, so I guess cars supplied in that year got the Skoda 100 year anniversary sticker. I know they also celebrated a 100 year anniversary in 2005, which I believe was 100 years of car manufacture - they just made bicycles for the first 10 years!

Oh come off it Andy, you've just swapped the reg plates over!

That's a heck of a transofrmation, durn, she looks as pretty as she ever did. :)

Inside of the mud flaps are still dirty.

Please send wine to usual address. Ta.

:D

Nice clean car.

Good cars the Felicias. Good relieable engines and very chuckable :)

Enjoy!

Nice work sir. Felicia's look good when totally cleaned, and much easier to do than summat large like a superb:D

however, after extensive testing, I can reveal that the 1.3mpi Felicia is 100mph faster and 200% more fuel efficient when its a dirty lil slag*

A five year old thread revival - but the AA are still sending me insurance renewal quotations for Pinky - even though she's been gone four and a half years (and has probably died and gone to heaven by now).

Anyway, this years quote - £558 third party fire and theft!!!!!

I'm 43, ROSPA advanced driver, 8 years NCD and pay less than half that for fully comp insurance on my MR2!!
