caliper paint

Featured Replies

hi all just taken my car to be serviced and they cleaned my car as I am allways cleaning may car and like keep it mint they cleaned my car and now the calipers has lost there shine is there any thing I can do to GET SHINE back as I have my car put for sale I wish they would not clean may car as it was not that dirty in first place

Strange.... My dealer did the same and cleaned the car (a quick pressure washer job) and my calipers looked the same.

I did my usual thing of giving a good clean with the detailing brush and the Muguiars hot rims and they came back ok.

Take the wheels off and give them a rub with some polish...works wonders ;)

Polishing Brake Calipers?

A clear case of way too much time on your hands.

Fill the tank & drive the thing.

Well the question was...

Sounds like they cleaned the car with traffic film remover, has a habit of taking the shine off the calipers.
