Sunblinds for cars with curtain airbags

Featured Replies

Had the old suction style ones for my old car but manual says not to use on new car as in the event of an accident where the curtain airbags deploy they could turn them into missiles apparently. So what can I do to stop kids getting blinded by sun don't want to get windows tinted as too expensive but would static cling type like this be ok?

i would say you should be ok using that on the glass , there is no way that will interfer with the curtain airbag as there is nothing sticking out to catch on it IMHO

What car you got Lorna? I'm selling my factory fitted blinds
