FRONT ARB replacement and car handling

Featured Replies

I own a 2002 vRS and my front ARB is squeaking. I checked the ARB and the bushes and saw that one of the plastic bushes on the ARB is split. So the ARB needs to be replaced. The ARB thickness is now 19mm. As I don't think there will be any difference in cost to replace it with a 19mm or 23mm I am thinking to replace it with a R32 23mm ARB.

Can anybody tell me if this will improve the handling of the car? I don't want to add a rear one. Or is it better to stay with a 19mm ARB when I don

the 23mm arb will fit, but it will have the tendancy to make the car understeer a lot. but it will be a lot firmer

Agreed, I stiffened up the 4x4 front first & the increased understeer was a real pain. personally I would do both or stick with the std size

or add a rear arb at the same time :D
