What's the maximum drop on 17's without rubbing?

How do?

I have some 205/40/17's on my Furby vRS at the moment and am looking to get the car lowered (just springs for now). I was wondering if anyone knows what the maximum drop is withou rubbing and needing to have arches work done???? Also, if the car is lowered, will it still be possible to fit ARBs without any scrubbing, knocking etc?

you should be able to go bout 50mm but to be safe i wouold say 40.

i've dropped 40mm with 215/35r18 on and slight rubbing on full lock and BIG bumps.

ARB fitted no problems

30mm = no problems.

I'm lowered around 60mm+ all round, but due to it being so stiff, I don't experience any arch or liner rub either.

Hi, Our driver side window made a growly noise then wound itself all the way down, and is now stuck. We have removed the door panel and can't even lift the glass manually from the bottom. It will not move. I think we need to replace the window regulator, but it seems that we need the glass half up to remove it. (Need to line up the rubber bung with a slot in the regulator?) I just want the window shut for when this heatwave breaks and the rain returns. Then we can order and fit new parts later.

2022 Skoda Octavia 1.5tsi estate. Following a battery issue, I now have 10 CAN Network Gateway faults, all related to low voltage. The battery has been replaced with a new one but I need to register the new one with the car. I have a Carista EVO reader but it won’t reset the fault codes. Reads them fine but won’t reset them. (I’ve subscribed for a month so that part is fine.) I checked the battery voltage and it was 14.1v so I took the car for a 30 minute drive to see if the car’s computer/sens

I'm looking at a 2020 Kamiq SEL as a second car, which has the fairly rare 'adaptive' cruise control (not 'predictive adaptive'). I've had mixed experiences with ACC on two Citroens. My recent C5 has it, and it works great and very smoothly so long as you remember that all it really does is keep you on station with the car in front and stop you running into it. I drive around 500 miles per week, commuting to work and back home. I currently have a Skoda Karoq 4x4 2.0 tdi - manual and I'm looking at multiple Skoda Enyaq models. I want to buy one but I cannot decide what capacity the battery should have and what will be better for me. For 71 miles daily and with me charging the car at home over night, I really don't know especially as the car will be second-hand.
