i think i might get medievil on mine later with hammers/crowbar/switch cleaner stuff. starting to really annoy me now.

Switch cleaner usually comes with a straw, just position the straw in the correct general direction and spray it liberally

Micro switches are not exactly known to be really resistant to dirt ingress

well i took the door card off then realised i couldn't remove the actual lock as it is held in place by what seems a gazillion sided torx bit :(

so i decided to spray the **** out of it from every angle i could but sadly had no effect other than getting dirt all over the bottom of my door

looks like i might have to buy a new one :(

I did the same with the spray, all I got was a dirty puddle on my drive where it ran out of the bottom of the door :grumpy:

yep, door card needs to come off as the lock comes out from the inside and the door handle, lock pin and cabling connect to it.

this can be done with much less money and a little effort
