It's just looking a little likely that I will have absolutely no companions on the trip with me to Prague due to unforeseen serious illness in the family of two of them, and the other is non-commital due to farming necessities that might rise up this weekend depending on the weather.

So quite simply I'm after an offer from one or two of the other people who are not driving all the way there on their own, to offer to drive the mongrel for a good portion of the drive while I snooze in the back. I just know that even cheap red bull isn't going to keep me awake for almost 48 hours straight.

Can I have a volunteer / victim please? Or two? ;)

Sorry Jason, already Co driving.

Looks like it might be me then jason

Thanks. Would probably only be for small stints when I get totally knackered. IF I end up on my own, what I'll most likely do is go to sleep straight from work and wake up around 11 to go straight to Dover. That way I might get away with it for longer.

I am yet to have 100% confirmation that I will be on my own, but I want to be pre-armed with backup. I'll give you a ring (I think I have your number) for more details as and when I need to. :)

Well, it's confirmed. I will be on my lonesome. I'll get you on the policy tomorrow morning, Chris, and you can be my replacement when I get too knackered. Will see how long I can realistically push it though.

Question is now its just me, do I take my back seats out again?

I wouldn't, you never know who you might pick up along the way ;)

Leave them in, not only will you get somewhere to stretch out, but the seat and parcel shelf should hide your luggage from view when between locations and parked.

Tinted windows do that Manny. :D

They're staying in then. And yeah, would be nice to have clear back seats to lie down and snooze while Chris drives. :)

Does that mean you need breakdown cover as your mobile breakdown cover is no longer coming?

****** to it. She's going to be 100% totally fine for the trip. She did 1400 miles in 4 days before with some track use, so this is just sticking a mere 1000 on top of that. ;)

Surprised you didn't volunteer. ;)

I would've actually Jason, sadly I only knew about this trip last week due my stupidity.

It's not too late Richard, there is a space in the accomodation.
